This is a picture of me in Tenerife in August 2004. It is the waterfall at the end of the Barranco del Infernio (Hell's Gorge). This is a two hour hike from the start of the gorge in Adeje to this waterfall. As it was high summer, the volume of the fall is low - but is far more substantial in the spring and winter months.
It's not too strenuous, but you do need trainers or walking boots. It gets very narrow and isolated and for the most part the trail is well marked.
There is a quota system operating on the walk to limit the amount of people in the gorge to prevent errosion of the path.
Try this walk - yet another part of Tenerife the masses never venture to.
